Thank you to everyone that came to our first ever stand up comedy evening which was an overwhelming success by all accounts and we’re pleased to announce that the next one is in the making!
On Thursday 10th September guests were treated to the most incredible line up of live comedy including Paul McCaffrey, Seann Walsh and Andy Askins. Kate Williams was also billed as a last minute surprise, an up and coming comic from the Isle of Wight.
The event organised in collaboration with Winchester based The Confident Crow Comedy Club was the first of many planned aptly called ‘Live at the Northbrook Arms’ events planned for the future, and what a way to start! Performed in our newly erected marquee in the courtyard of the pub, our four incredible comics had our customers in stitches of laughter from start to finish.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone that attended the evening along with all the very positive and encouraging feedback we’ve had since. We’d also like to apologise to anyone that missed out this time round – we had no idea that the tickets would sell out quite so quickly!
