About Stephen Grant

Stephen Grant is one of the UK’s funniest, hardest working and most respected comedians. Whether entertaining full-size theatres, voicing animations, warming up TV audiences, presenting radio shows or hosting corporate award nights Stephen never fails to pull in the laughs.

Stephen is , the curator of the Forge Comedy Club, Britain’s most advanced comedy venue. A multi-award winning MC and the most experienced late show compere in the UK due to his 23 year residency at the Krater Comedy Club. He performs at clubs and corporate events all over the UK and on the international circuit and has taken six critically acclaimed shows to the Edinburgh Fringe since 2003.

A repeat award winner of Best UK Compere, Stephen Grant is one of the hardest working comedy performers and writers in the UK.  He was the host of the Krater Comedy Club at Komedia between 1999 and 2022, which won Best Comedy Venue in the South for an unprecedented amount of times. In Jan 2022, Stephen started the Forge Comedy Club in Brighton’s newest and most advanced performance space.

As a performer, Stephen is a regular headliner at The Comedy Store in Leicester Square. He possesses an energy and intellect which combined with his eight years in the corporate world make for a perfect experienced host and entertainer for any event. Clients often return to Stephen for repeat engagements due to his ability to vary his content and material, often tailoring it specific to the client’s requirements and industry.

About Gareth Richards

Gareth Richards’ hilarious stand-up and “gorgeously low-key comedy songs” (The Guardian) have made him an instant favourite on the comedy circuit. He was a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2007 competition, and was runner-up in the Amused Moose Laugh-Off 2007.

In 2010 he took his first solo stand up show, “Stand Up Between Songs” to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was nominated for Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer. He has taken a show to Edinburgh nearly every year since, and in 2018 is performing his eighth solo show, “Prophet” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

On Television Gareth has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3), Live at the Electric (BBC3) and the children’s TV panel show The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC). He has performed Live on BBC Radio 1, and has recorded stand up sets for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 2. Gareth co-hosted Frank Skinner’s Sony award-winning Absolute Radio show for two years and still regularly fills in.

Paul is the founder of the Confident Crow Comedy Club and our partner in presenting the ‘Live at the Northbrook Arms’ comedy evenings.

On the radio, Paul has recently co-hosted the Rock and Roll football on Absolute Radio and the Warm up on TalkSport as well as guesting on Rob Beckett’s show on Absolute and performing Stand up on Russell Kanes Whistlestop Tour on Radio 2. Paul is also the co-host of Radio Xs The Britpopcast, a brand new podcast all about 90s music with George Lewis.

Paul has recently appeared on major UK tours with two of Britain’s foremost stand ups, Sean Lock and Kevin Bridges – playing to more than half a million people in Arenas and theatres to great critical acclaim. He has also been the support act for Michael Mcintyre, John Bishop and Lee Mack. 2019 saw McCaffrey take to the road for his first solo headline tour ‘I thought I’d have grown out of this by now’, playing to packed houses across the UK. In Spring 2020, he’ll be hitting the road again in his own right this time, with hilarious new show LEMON.
