For those that don’t know, this will involve getting sponsored to completely shave her head for this incredible charity in memory of family members she has lost.

“Like most people I’ve lost loved ones to cancer. I lost my mum when I was sixteen and my grandad three months later”, explains Lisa, and unfortunately she’s also had a tough year that has led to her taking the plunge to shave her head. “This year alone I’ve lost three family members, one being my mother in law who became my second mum after I lost my own, she always treated me as one of her own and although her cancer battle wasn’t a long one she always praised the Macmillan nurses on what a great help they were for her, so I’d like to show my appreciation whilst helping other families in the same situation by braving the shave”.

Lisa we’ll be shaving her head publicly here at the pub on the 3rd September at 3.30pm and would like your help to raise as much money as possible to make it all worthwhile. You’re all welcome to join us for the main event and we hope you’ll join us in supporting Lisa in being brave enough to undertake this fundraising mission!
