This year marks the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, and we’re proud to be joining the nation in commemorating this historic occasion. We invite you to join us for a heartfelt and memorable evening as we honour the heroes of the past and celebrate peace, unity, and resilience.

Enjoy a specially curated VE Day Specials Menu available for both lunch and dinner – a nostalgic nod to 1945 with a modern twist served alongside our normal menu.
🎤 Live Music from Kate Stevens
Be swept away by the vintage vocals of the incredible Kate Stevens, bringing timeless classics to life throughout the evening.
🕯️ Poetry & Reflection
Take a moment with us as we share poignant poems and observe a minute’s silence ahead of the national beacon lighting.
🔥 Lighting of the Beacons & National Anthem
At 9.30pm, we’ll join the nation in lighting the beacons and singing I Vow to Thee, My Country in a moving tribute to those who gave so much.
🕺 Late Night Opening
The celebrations continue into the night for those who wish to raise a glass and party in the spirit of honour and remembrance.
Bring your friends, family, and community spirit – let’s make VE Day 80 an evening to remember. If you can’t join us on Thursday 8th, we will also be celebrating on Saturday 10th by inviting the Winchester Cadets Band onsite to entertain us in the day.
