Char opened its doors to tea lovers in August 2006. They have had great fun and success during this period to the present and are delighted to count many of their customers as friends.
Their mission is in two parts;
- is to bring to their friends and customers the very best teas from China, India, and around the World at the very best prices.
- is to make tea buying at Char a happy event with a desire to build loyalty and a following of their brand.
Their professional buyers work closely with the growers, and they import directly wherever they can. However, in the case of most perfumed teas there are specialist perfuming houses whom Char appoint whether they be in England or on the Continent.
In this way Char ensure that they bring you the very best from the very best. Their tasting and analysis of Assam and Darjeelings is undertaken for them by Saket Khaitan in India and Lingda Ding in China. They owe both Lingda and Saketboth much for their contribution to ensuring the high quality and exclusivity of Char teas.
